…Professional chocolatier, I am the one who has been sculpting for several years what is today the Bean to Bliss Chocolate Shop: a different proposal of products based on real chocolate in Costa Rica; a project attached to world trends in the matter. 🚀
My intention with Bean to Bliss goes beyond the simple fact of selling a box of chocolates, I really believe that I can deposit grams of happiness and good energy in each of my chocolates and products. ✨ I want to believe that at Bean to Bliss we positively change lives, one sweetie at a time... The first one was mine 💖
I have always admired the craft professions, the processes inherited over time, the love for what is done. In the Chocolatería I found a reason to live and the personal duty to return the real meaning of what an artisanal job implies.
I believe that there is always room for improvement, but I work hard to offer the best products that my hands, mind and heart can create. 💖
Bean to Bliss is a dream come true and it's time to share it with everyone, because good things are shared!

…Before husbands, Silvia is my best friend, which is why I did not hesitate to encourage her to fulfill her dreams: from enrolling her (without her realizing it) in a scholarship contest for a master's degree in Europe, to, once there; drive a little over 1,240 km in a rented camper so that she could study what she had wanted so much for a couple of years by then: Professional Chocolatier.
She had the ability, the discipline, and the passion, and I had the drive, the desire, and the courage to take risks without fear, because that is what those of us who are passionate about business do, those of us who somehow carry an entrepreneur inside of us. innate.
Bean to Bliss is my safe and quiet place, my de-stress from my profession; That is why when I am not at work, you will see me in the Chocolate shop serving, or putting together packages or simply enjoying my moment there with friends, where everyone who comes with good energy will always have a place not only in the Chocolate shop but also in our lives. 😎

…Un amante de la historia, el espacio, la ciencia y las conversaciones substanciales. ✨
I met Harvey and Silvia a few years ago, in a project in which we worked together, which is why when it came to needing someone trustworthy to carry out this adventure that Bean to Bliss represents, they did not hesitate to call me to see if I wanted to build with them the largest of what is now OUR dream. 🌱 The truth is that I did not hesitate for a second to leave everything I had known for years to head my way to a new life almost 80km from where I lived.
With a very different idea of what it would be like and with a lot of learning on the way, my passion for chocolate came as a surprise to all of us. My vocation and ability for chocolate came very naturally; It was easier for me to learn with the most complex concepts than in the most simplified ways, I wanted to eat all the information, I wanted to eat the world! 🌎
Creating a chocolate or a tablet goes beyond the simple fact of working with chocolate, at Bean to Bliss I fell in love with making others happy through our products, I fell in love with transcending, with going beyond; Because as Silvia says "The world is already full of a lot of negativity, let's do good things, let's reap positive energy, and if we think about it... cooking is a tangible way of giving love, of being happy by making someone else happy". 💫

…A new life brought me to San José, a new family welcomed me.
Being emaciated is difficult, moving from a rural area to the city where you don't know anyone makes it even more complicated, however, a new family was already waiting for us when we arrived. I think that made me not hesitate to help them whenever they needed it, with the luck that, also to everyone's surprise, I have innate abilities for chocolate making, which I am learning little by little here at Bean to Bliss.
I have a curious, critical and creative nature that has never been silenced here, a nature that is reflected in my forte, which is decorating and creating pieces by hand, chocolate-covered bonbons and any activity that poses a challenge! 💪
And what more challenge than being a key piece together with everyone, of a dream that not everyone dares to build!🍫

…Soy el más tímido del equipo, pero mis ganas de aprender superan toda timidez! ✨
Llegué a Bean to Bliss un año después que mi hermano Jostin, confiando también en el proyecto y en Silvia y Harvey, con quienes ya había laborado en el año 2018. Necesitaba un cambio de vida, un cambio de aires y sabía que aquí lo encontraría. Conocía el reto que suponía atender personas cara a cara y por supuesto, el trabajo con chocolate.
Aprendo más rápido de lo que pensaba y mis ganasde superarme son mi motivación diaria para salir de la zona de confort que me mantuvo cautivo por varios años.
Soy una persona servicial, analítica, prefiero preguntar varias veces antes de cometer un error; me gusta el orden en el espacio de trabajo y junto a todos los miembros de la chocolatería, trabajo arduamente por dar mi mejor esfuerzo y que éste se vea reflejado en el crecimiento de la Chocolatería, en donde realmente somos una familia. Tanto así que los días libres igual la pasamos juntos.
Cuando me vean callado, con una sonrisa leve, no crean que es por algo negativo, contrario a eso, día con día moldeo a lo externo también, la persona amable y de buen corazón que llevo dentro. No por nada Silvia me llama «Tesorito». 💖

…Al inicio fue un asunto familiar, luego se convirtió en pasión 💖
A pesar de que en Bean todos somos realmente una familia, lo cierto es que yo sí lo soy, por consanguinidad; es por ello que he visto toda la evolución de Bean to Bliss, desde que Silvia quería estudiar Chocolatería, hasta que se abrió la primera tienda y luego la segunda, de la que orgullosamente he sido parte desde el primer día. 🍫 Por motivos de estudio no puedo estar tiempo completo en ella, pero no la dejo, porque es a su vez, uno de mis proyectos personales y soy parte de su evolución. 🚀🪐✨
No hará falta que me busquen, porque si pasan por el frente de la Choco en Avenida es muy seguro que los salude con mucha alegría, porque mi energía es tan contagiosa que no puedo evitar compartirla con aquellos que me rodean. 🤩
